- I was browsing around the Macy's site for practically a month before deciding on which watch I was going to buy. I decided on this one because I really was looking for a great nighttime piece since I already have other watches.

First time post here but avid reader I am looking to buy my son a Vintage Patek for a graduation gift but want to keep it below $10k for him...does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not very knowledgeable on the vintage side so I was hoping for some guidance on what he would be able to cherish for a while to come.
Hello all,Just looking for some information on this watch. I know it's older, a Longine, and has a scuba man on the back. Would love help piecing together this watch's details i.e. type, age, value, etc. I have provided some photos below for reference. Thank you in advance!Best,Adamimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
So What would you choose?Same value watches. Red Sub all original, in an like NOS condition! Don¡¯t think I¡¯ve ever seen one as nice.
Hi! First time poster here... please be gentle if I¡¯m asking a question that¡¯s been asked already, but I searched through the forum, and couldn¡¯t find a satisfactory answer. =)I just sent in my Dad¡¯s Datejust 16014 - I believe it¡¯s from the late 70s or early 80s to the Dallas RSC. I don¡¯t ever intend on selling it, but would like to keep it in the family as a heirloom piece. My Dad left the family when I was a child, so I don¡¯t really have any sentimental attachments to it, but it¡¯s just a rather cool piece, it being a relatively old watch. I¡¯m debating whether I should replace the dials and hands. I understand with new dials and hands I will lose the tritium, and the overall faded vintage feel. Considering I don¡¯t intend on selling it, should I just have them replace it? Any other factors that I should take into? Thanks in advance! Btw, just placed an order with my AD for my first new Rolex - an Explorer 1... can¡¯t wait!
