Cartier Cartier 6807 wrist watches news:
About 20 years ago at a large US airport I sat next to a fellow sporting a Rolex watch with a very unusual band. On each end of the watch on the end links or the link just below the end links there was the Rolex logo stamped or cut out and if I remember correctly in relief. It was a beautiful band and I have never seen one since. I know my description is not that good but is there anyone out there that has such a band and could post a picture. I don't want to buy the band. I just want to look at one again. Thanks, Don
I have 4 watches my mom just showed me she had passed down to her:1) Stratford Pocketwatch 6J - "4620162", etched in "6317W" and looks to be "6/11", "Monitor"2) Lucien Piccard 17J ladies wristwatch (gold filled?) manual (swiss I know, sorry)3) Gruen ladies wristwatch manual wind - says "Basemetal" and "0192423"4) Juvenia ladies plaque g20 (gold plated watch) manual windI have no idea the age, but all are very old. The Juvenia and Stratford the oldest I believe. Any info you can give at all would be awesome! Thanks for looking!!

Fellas, heres a vid from Hodinkee about the 175th Anniversary auction for Patek. Interesting video as always from Hodinkee.Enjoy! There are some fantastic pieces here
I¡¯ve had the sky dweller since September and really like it. I also have a yearning for a yellow gold gmt master with black dial. Would you flip a blue dial sky dweller and use that plus cash for a used yellow gold model... or do you think it would be hard to replace that blue dial sky dweller in the future and hold on to it and add gmt later (probably much later given they are around $25k pre loved).
