Cartier WE1001R8 wrist watches news:
Before everyone starts out with the "get what you pay for," I know. This is all I could afford at this time.Got the 2 watch winder from costco and looks great as referenced here on this forum. Unfortunately, it does not keep my watch wound, even in the 2nd mode that goes clock and counter intermittently. I have witnessed it working the correct amount of times, switching direction, and it is plugged into the wall, no battery operation. It may be the weight of my watch, (L3.670.4.56.6 Longines Admiral Automatic Chronograph Mens Watch) that does not allow it to turn at proper speed? Any suggestions beside buying a different winder? Thanks,Scott
In threads elsewhere, certain watches got negative votes because it/they didn't have a see-through case back. This made me curious.Assuming you can comfortably afford it, would you ignore a really good watch (I'm being vague on purpose to avoid prejudice) simply because it had a steel or gold case back instead of an exhibition one?My opinion: It's nice to have but certainly no deal breaker by any means. Besides...I never wear them with the dial down anyway!
I am usually buzzing around reg Rolex side.. but a certain PP has caught my attention. I have a couple questions.. hoping someone will know..When did the Nautilus 5980 first come out? Also is there any difference between a 2008 and a 2011 model 5980 ?TYIAD
Here's mine. Hoping to add another Rolex at some point.
Guys,I am pretty much sold on the pre ceramic GMT master pepsi bezel. The problem is, I will probably need to part with my Explorer, I intentionally bought the Explorer to flip it to other models in the future but I really bonded with my Explorer, I wish I could afford both of them but I can't as a flying student I can barley afford one of them...I would like to ask you guys, for a fair deal, how much would you say I need to add for a pepsi GMT from around 2000's? I have the 114270 model...The thing that rrally made me want a GMT is this:https://youtu.be/jJNZbvRLAUU
