Cartier W20090X8 wrist watches news:
Last year Basel saw the Certina DS 1 release to a lot of happy watch lovers. It was a entry level priced handsome watch with the build quality and parts that the Swatch Group is able to provide (usually pretty good). Quality is a bit up from Hamilton, another Swatch Group brand. The standard DS 1 watch has an ETA 2824-2 movement, while this new chronograph version will have a Valjoux 7750. This might be one of the best priced watches to be available with the highly desirable work-horse automatic chronograph movement.Still with the Tag Heuer Carrera look, the Certina DS 1 Chrono Automatique (Automatic if you aren't in Europe!) takes everything I love about the Valjoux 7750 movement and emphasizes on its sober tool-like demeanor. That isn't to say the watch is without beautiful good looks, but it is more handsome than flashy. You'll notice that Certina chose to include two different types of pushers for the chronograph. The start and stop pusher being a bit larger and easier to use. The
I've seen a few that I like but am not too familiar with them, the price points are very reasonable.Anyone own any, if so whatt'ya think of 'em.
I have been an AP admirer for quite some time and in fact tried on my first which so happens was a ROO about 7 years ago. I thought to my self, self... One day you should get one of these!I was thinking seriously of late about adding an AP Safari as I have loved the look with the brown horn back strap but my slight hesitation was the lack of lume making it a bit of a turnoff but still... I was ready to overlook it. My second choice was the black rubberclad as I really like the contrast with the silver sub dials verses say the black themes. Perhaps down the road I may have to look at the Bee as I have always been a fan of black/yellow combo's.My '72 Chevelle as example...Anyway, back to watches. So, without further ado...I have to say, even though I have read all the accolades from many of you about all of the great attributes of an AP, it is quite another thing to actually wear one and see what everyone is talking about. I am loving it...One of the things I was worried about was many wh

I firmly believe that Coke will be produced in Stainless Steel and will be unveiled this Baselworld. The reason? Here's my thoughts. Rolex ceramic bezels is easier to make in single color and most easy being the Black (default) color. Then to add HALF a circle is next challenge which is easy if other half is black. So, this way making BLNR was not that difficult. It has just half BLUE circle. If you make Coke bezel, that blue will be replaced with Red and instead it will have half RED circle. So, if you can do BLNR, you can easily do Coke(with minor issue of red shade). If you compare these 2 watches, both appears to be from same set with just Blue or Red options. So, I expect both these to be part of Stainless Steel. Pepsi on the other hand is more difficult to make as it involves two colors(Blue/Red) and very few chances of getting it right hence it was available in WG at the start. The watch was fine but it wasn't the huge seller it was expected. So, they are doing the next option,
