Invicta 15793 wrist watches news:
Hey guys !I'm back on the solid gold trench watch kick again but I am a bit stumped when it comes to this one! This is a 9k solid gold trench watch case that was manufactured by the Keystone Watch Case Company. It's the BIG size 0s version with a hinged case back and 10mm lugs. The movement screw indentations are unmistakably ELGIN ! ! !The thing that has me a bit stumped is that this is an AMERICAN made trench watch case that is hallmarked. This is VERY unusual, the Americans did not do this to their cases! It took me several days to identify the hallmarks as they are from a sort of obscure assay office. The marks are from the Chester Assay Office in England.Usually when you see marks from the UK they are from Birmingham, London, Sheffield and Edinburgh. The hallmarks:The 3 sheaves of corn indicate the Chester Assay Office.N: 1913.375: 9k gold content. So, why does this American made trench watch case have UK hallmarks ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?The case was made in America but then imported to the UK vi
It seems Dennis has decided to take the jump, looking at his recent additions to the sales forum I only wish I was in a position to compete at this level. I wish you all the best in your hunt for newer pastures.Original topicwatchtalkforums.info/foru...orum/46135.htm
Hey guys. I wanted to let everyone know that I started a watch company and I just released my first watch, the Endeavor Chronograph I. Currently I have one model with many more in future development. I currently began to advertise with WTF and I wanted to spread the word and hear what people have to say. I respect many of your opinions and would love to hear feed back about the watch and the web site as well. Please take a look at DC&MB Watch CompanyJust a little about me.My name is Mike Esposito and I live in Huntington, NY. I literally started this company on my own at the age of 24. I was very inspired that Michael Kobold did the same and I felt like there is no reason that I could not do it either. 1 1/2 years later I have my first model and a web site but I am trying to build a name from nothing. Obviously that is very difficult! I know many small WC's have started small by advertising on site's such as this so here I am.Thanks.Hope to hear from you guys.dcmb_logo.jpg
Hi everyone, I do not post a lot on here, but spend a lot of time lurking and am just amazed at the individual pieces and whole collections that you all have on here (you know who you are ). I really love fine watch making and aspire to own a Patek one day, let alone multiple. However, I am young and paying off school loans in the six figures and it seems like such an unreal goal. My watches have all been gifts to me by generous and loving people in my life, so I'd really like to eventually buy the Patek for myself. I was wondering if any of you had any advice or guiding principles that helped you accomplish your goals or acquire your collection? To see these pieces on your wrists, I know you're doing something right! Best
Hello everybody! Some great news...Finally it became reality! I have my KERMIT! I bought it from a dealer in Italy via Chrono24 (I live in spain myself) I trade in my 114060 with some extra euro¡äs for a 16610LV RRR from 2008, with box and papers in mint condition. It took about a week to receive the Kermit after I first send my 114060 to Italy.. Everything went really smooth.. I found it a little scary though, as I never purchased a watch online..I went to my local AD yesterday so the Rolex watchmaker could have a look inside the watch to see if it needed a service. It is in perfect condition, as the seller told me, so he recommended not to service it. It took him about 20 minutes to check the movement. He also tested the watch in several positions. They really treated me very good. After the check up, the Rolex watch maker sat down with me to explain everything he checked using his Ipad to show me the exact components of the 3135 movement. They were very pleased and impressed to see a
