John gets a little too excited about Sinn watches in this episode that we record face to face while also discussing the Swatch Group vs. Tiffany & Co. debacle (and more).Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 80 here. Download the MP3.
Would anyone know anything about the Clifton watch pictured below? It was found in my parents stock of old watches. There is no country of origin but has 17 jewels.
Wife and I have been looking for complimentary watches for some time. This year I picked up the 44mm RG novelty. Over the holiday season, we ended up at Magnum in the Caymans and she ended up with this 33mm RG RO. I was looking at a PP5711 blue face down the road but just didn't love it enough... to my wife's benefit :).I did a get a small bit of my AP fix with the purchase of an AP dealer wall clock. I have a picture of it but have not yet had the benefit of seeing it in person because it is being shipped to me. A big thank you to Conkers for going out of his way to help me get this from his AD!
Hi, I was wondering if you could swap the bracelet and fit the Speedmaster HB-SIA GMT titanium deployant (the carbon fiber dial one)Or any other rubber deployant. I tend to like the Skywalker on a rubber better than the bracelet.Thanks,Jorge.
Im traveling to Europe next week, and Geneva will be one of my stops. Does anyone have experience buying watches in Switzerland? In the end will buying a watch there save me money or cost about the same as purchasing a watch in the US? I do not absolutely need to buy a watch in Switzerland, I was just wondering if there is any sort of benefit. Can anyone shed some light on the topic?
