While Phillips' second Geneva sale features some monumental vintage pieces from Rolex, Patek, Vacheron, and others, they also have a few modern pieces that have collectors buzzing – none more so than this Tourbillon Souveraine from F.P. Journe. But this isn't your typical Journe tourbillon – nay – this is one of his legendary "Souscription" Tourbillons – the first 20 wristwatches he ever made under his eponymous brand. 1 OF 4 Borrowing a page from A-L Breguet's book, Francois-Paul Journe did not have the necessary capital to launch his own label back in 1998. Hi all. I am thinking of buying. Hamilton Khaki Action Chronograph 44mm on white dial??? H63556515KHAKI ACTION AUTO CHRONObrown leather strapWhat do you guys think of this watch likes/dislikes? And if have one, can you provide pictures of yours?Thanks...
Would you go through this hassle personally?Owning a 5167 that I wear and enjoy, and have had for a few months. It was Double sealed when I bought it, however did not have my name on the papers as I bought it from a trusted seller. I did get a better than retail price for it, and really wanted the watch.I have the option of obtaining a BNIB from a retailer, which I could have my name on.Would you go through this hassle?I would lose money of course, as my Patek won't sell for the same price I will buy the brand new one for. I will also have to find a buyer, ship it, etc. Never sold a watch on TRF, so I guess my best bet would be to sell to a trusted seller, meaning I would be offered quite a bit less than what they usually sell for.My 5167 is in flawless condition.I never ever even look at the paper work or boxes of any of my owned watches, but wondering if it is worth the hassle.Part of me says I doubt my kids would care if the papers has my name. I also am certain that I will have many
