- I really liked the look of the watch but found it too difficult to fasten sadly, I returned it.

- I have only had this for a short time, so I do not know about the durability. The watch looks good and works well. The band was enourmous, so I had to have a few links taken out of the band, but now it fits perfectly. I like it.

- Love this watch. It is contemporary, and truly a head turning show stopper. The perfect black band and just the right sparkle. I wear it all the time....

Vacheron Constantin Vacheron Constantin 13987 wrist watches news:
Hi, my first time here and I'm hoping the forum can help. I purchased a Revolutionary Model CS2si watch winder back on 09/08/08 and it is starting to have problems with the alternating setting. It will run fine in the clockwise direction but when it switches to counter clockwise it sticks and jerks. The main issue I have is I can't find the company (Revolutionary Products, INC., 5008 W. Linebaugh Ave., Suite 25, Tampa, Florida). The phone number I have no longer works and I can't find them on the web. Any ideas where they may be? Any idea who I can get to work on the winder if I can't find the company?Sorry for being long winded and Thanks for any help!
I've never been a fan of Omega or the Speedmaster (great history, but the watch itself didn't do it for me)...and then I saw the 60th from Basel this year:WOW. So of course I had to make my way to the boutique, knowing full well that they wouldn't have it in stock. That's when I saw the '57 Co-Axial, which also blew me away:So, what can you all tell me about the differences between these two? I know one has a date while the other doesn't, but what else should I know, being a total Omega newbie? The '57 retails for over 9k but I've seen them for around 5k on the pre-owned market. The 60th retails for a little over 7k but is selling at a premium pre-owned. What am I missing, besides the fact that the 60th is a Limited Edition of a whopping 3557 pieces?
I am making my way outside Rolex for something new so I decided to pick something up I have always admired from a distance. Debated on 42MM or 45MM, orange numbers or white numbers. NEVER entertained the orange bezel however. That's outside my comfort zone. Can't beat the price purchasing second hand especially considering how much I have spent on Rolex. So without further ado, say hello to my little 45MM friend......................
TRF'ers...in your opinion, disregarding what else may be in the collection, what's a better piece to pair with the No Date Sub (114060):-Explorer 1 (updated 214270 with lumed numerals and longer hands)-GMTC II LNWould the Explorer be too similar in that it is another no date/time only, black dial Rolex with the Mercedes hands, with 'similar' brushed oyster bracelet? Or would it pair nicely in with its smooth bezel, different hour markers on the dial (with the Arabic numerals) and generally wears differently than a sub?Would the GMTC be too similar as it is another black dial Rolex that has a rotating bezel, similar hour markers on the dial, and wears somewhat similar to the sub? Or would it pair nicely as it has the date/cyclops, bezel (while rotating) like the sub) is different, polished center links, and added GMT complication?Looking for opinions and would love to hear from owners who own both of the different pairings. Thanks in advance.
I did a search and couldn¡¯t find this type of thread. For me, staff at restaurants most often recognize my rolexes and comment on them. Also, at airports a few times while walking. but mainly staff at restaurants notice even my explorer 1, or old air king, much less the deep blue.. I often wonder why, but am guessing it¡¯s because they profile people that tip OR just appreciate watches. I certainly don¡¯t think staff at restaurants are beneath anyone... many are students, part time, semi retired, or just like what they do. From IHOP to fine dining, I¡¯ve had people comment on watches.. even hostesses seating people have said,,¡±nice watch...¡± to me. I neverr under any circumstances wear any watch for recognition, ever. It surprises me when people do recognize and comment. When wearing a reverso, I¡¯ve never had anyone comment, even in a watch store, which seems odd. I guess there are times when people do recognize but don¡¯t comment, I myself have complimented people wearing an explorer 2 wh
