- Bought the ladies model for the wife too once I received this. The perfect survival watch and waaaaay better than Suunto which will leak after a battery change. Not too in size compared to the competition too!

Franck Muller 7851 sc wrist watches news:
Not much to say here. Just thought I'd throw it out there. I walk in to an AD and occasionally see a V or two, lots of M's of course, and a few Z's. Probably a few older ones on the non-sport watches.Would you care?Would you insist on V or M when purchasing a new Sub or Dweller?Just wondering?

This is a very nice piece created just for WTF after a vote by participating members. The dial work is excellent and keeps great time. I just photographed it today for the first time ever and thought I'd share. Aside from some enduring online friendships I made here, it's my favorite memory of WTF.Just thought I'd share. And still can't spell!
I saw the Invicta quartz minute repeater was on sale at the Shop yesterday and almost pulled the trigger, but didn't.Here's the watch:Here's pros in my mind:-made in Japan, uses a Citizen movement. So basically, it looks like Invicta subcontracted this to Citizen.-of all the minute repeater watches, imho, this has the best looking dial and case in a repeater less than $2000 grand. It has that classic look. The Citizen minute repeaters, while cheaper, look cheap to me.-the price has dropped from $500 to $338-the complications are exactly what I find "cool" in watches. The cons:-$338 is up there where you can snag a Hamilton or Accutron when they are on special-the Shop charges $15 for delivery and the delivery date is Nov 6. Do they ship it from Inner Mongolia?-chances are this will be $200 in 6 monthsLooking forward to advice, sarcasm, and other alternatives : )
Hello allI've been lurking for about a year now and chime in once in a while. After the countless hours I've spent looking through this forum and the pictures of everyone's watches I thought my first nice watch was going to be a Rolex, specifically a 116613lb. I visited several AD's throughout SoCal and Vegas and was in love with the 2-tone blue sub after trying on almost all the modern models. About a month ago I stopped by Traditional Jewelers in Newport Beach and saw they had a 15400 black dial. I tried it on and really loved it but thought it was out of my price range for at least a few years. I figured I would get one in a few years after first getting a Rolex. Fast forward....On Thursday I was in Newport again and dropped by Traditional Jewelers. They had the same 15400 black dial and I tried it on again. And I really didn't want to take it off. I tried on the 15400 and the 116613lb side by side and there was no comparison to me. The AP was just so much more refined and the finis
