went to Vegas and finally got to try on my dream watch
we went to Las Vegas this last weekend for a friends wedding and as we were shopping around I came across a high end watch store (Rolex, Breitling, Omega, etc...). I hate to look around in these stores because I can't afford the watch I want and I really hate wasting people's time, so I usually don't...but this time I decided "what the hell". We walked in and went straight to the Breitling side, and there it was, the Breitling Navitimer...my dream watch. I want this watch so bad, but can't pony up the 8k for it, but the lady was super nice and let me try it on (that may have been a bad thing LOL). Now I'm thinking of ways to raise the eight grand so I can buy it LOL...wish I could have taken a pic but you were not allowed to, so I thought I would just share my story with everyone so you can feel sorry for me :)

It's also another arm of the Walmart corporation along with Walgreen's - I won't delve into how they're choking out independent businesses and my opinions on that since that's a subject more suited to the Community Forum. You should take note to item #8 in the above article though. I know there have been a few members who bought watches from these price clubs.

This or that
I am very close to purchasing this model but unsure which color. The bulk of my collection are black dials so I was thinking of going with the blue to mix things up a bit. What do you think? Is it too much blue? Would I get tired of it quickly? Should I stick with the traditonal black dial?orOr what about this idea. A little photoshop experiment. Get the blue dial and change the blue strap for the black strap. Your thoughts???

People noticing you're wearing an AP
I'm sure this has been posted many times before, so apologies in advance!How often do people notice you've got an AP on? I assume those of you working in banking/finance have it happen more regularly, but I've only ever had one person comment on mine and the first question was 'is that a fake'

5980 Black or Blue?
I think the blue dial is infinitely more interesting and beautiful than the black dial, but I'm convinced the black dial will match just about everything I wear. The blue dial seems like it will really pop with the right clothes but clash more with the wrong outfit. I'm looking for thoughts on this to help me decide which dial for an every day and only sport watch. I searched the topic expecting to find thirty or so threads like on the Rolex Forum (daily white or black dial Daytona/Explorer II ;)) but can it be I'm the first to ask or care? (doubts it). Thanks in advance for the advice, or the redirect to the same topic if I missed it somehow, or apologies for another boring question! :)
