Casio Casio 51692 wrist watches news:
Apologies if this seems a blatantly stupid question but here goes. I've always loved the Ventura and decided to track one down. Starting with the Hamilton site there seems like there are only a few models (I'm guessing they only show current models). The problems start with model numbers ie some sites pics don't match serial numbers. Cutting a long story short I've tracked down model no h244510 and been told sometimes it ends with 731 omitting the last 0. Can anyone tell me what this watch is. Im looking for the basic vintage model (re issue). It's not easy to explain the situation I'm in, but my previous order with a crap uk company who know nothing about watches is not helping things as the venturas seem tricky to track down. Any pointers or models to avoid would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
Gentlemen, earlier today I placed a winning bid on an AP Diver for $8300 + $100 shipping from Russia. This is my first big watch purchase and now getting second thoughts of moving forward. Here is the link:.ebay/itm/152173678172...%3AMEBIDX%3AITHas anyone purchased a watch like this on Ebay? The price is a little lower than the market rate so I am a little skeptical. The seller says it comes with all boxes and papers. What do you guys think? Thanks for the newbie help!!
Guys, I really love the look of the Ceramic Diver but I have fears about cracking the case and/or chipping the ceramic. I've seen a few ceramic bezels on here that have chips in them. Where SS can be buffed out, ceramic requires replacement. Please chime in if you have had a ceramic piece from AP chip on you.
So, I am giving some thought into selling my 116613LB and Explorer(39mm) it help fund my first PP, Aquanaut. Before I do this I need to know what to expect from the watch. I am not sure, but I think it is safe to assume that the Aquanaut will not be as durable as the two Rolexs mentioned. With that being said, the use of the watch will not be for heavy use. i will leave that to my Hulk Submariner, which I plan to keep. The intent of use will be for travel, possibly swimming, dinner, Church and other medium task. No golf or tennis or snorkeling, eventhough I believe it ca handle diving 60'. Please tell me if the watch is too delicate like its siblings and that I am better off keeping what I have, or will it do what I want it to do without breaking a sweat. Also, what can I expect form the company itself when it comes to warranty, service and cost of service.
A thread to discuss the merits of those Gondolo's we like the best.Remember there are no winners and there certainly are no losers.Just a discussion of which Gondolo's we like and why.Pictures are a must whenever possible, remember it's awfully hard to discuss the beauty of something without a picture. From the Patek Phillipe website:The spirit of Art DecoThe Gondolo collection, launched in 1993, is Patek Philippe¡¯s contemporary interpretation of the Art Deco style. It demonstrates Patek Philippe¡¯s commitment to form watches which figure proudly in the company¡¯s legacy. The name of the collection was derived from the ¡°Chronometro Gondolo¡± watches that were manufactured by Patek Philippe for the renowned Brazilian retailer Gondolo & Labouriau between 1902 and 1930. There are 4 models in this category, who would like to start?
