- Watch is exactly as described. Keeps great time. Purchased it to wear on my golf skirt as I cannot swing the club with a wrist watch on my arm. I also clip it on my tennis bag. Love the color!!

Chopard 8026 wrist watches news:
Jaeger-LeCoultre has been producing stunning Atmos clocks for more than 80 years, and at SIHH two new models debuted that continue the tradition. One is a re-edition of a 1930s clock, and the other a contemporary piece in Baccarat crystal designed by Marc Newson. In 1928, the engineer Jean-L¨¦on Reutter devised a clock movement designed to run for several centuries without wearing out or requiring any external intervention. Fascinated by this revolutionary invention, Jaeger-LeCoultre applied its manufacturing capabilities to developing and perfecting the mechanism, and the Atmos clock was born. The Atmos mechanism is a marvel of engineering. It is powered by minute temperature fluctuations. Even a 1 degree Celsius change is enough to provide 48 hours of power reserve. Its annular balance also operates in an amazingly economical manner: by oscillating just two times per minute, its energy consumption is 250 times less than that of a conventional wristwatch. Here is an amazing statistic: i

If quartz movements can be made to to this, or other feats like the Seiko kinetic auto-relay, etc. why has nobody made a quartz movement with a sweep second hand? All you would need would be to gear down the second hand by 8, and then have the stepper motor fire 8 times per second. It would also solve the other common complaint with quartz, that is that the second hand doesn't point exactly at the indexes.Any thoughts?
I am very close to buying my first AP and I could not be happier. I have decided on the 15400 in white or blue; however, I am trying to justify paying full price for the blue dial with a 5 year boutique warranty vs. getting a nice discount at an AD for the white dial. Can anyone recommend an AD that could help with a discount on the white dial? It is worth noting that my current collection does not include a white or blue dial anymore. Also, this will be a daily wearer. Thank for your thoughts!Ryan
What do you think of the new B01 in-house movement? Is it a step in the right the direction for the watch company.
