Panerai PAM 90 wrist watches news:
2015 marks?the 34th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and 每 on a personal note 每 my second year in a row that I get to visit this unique exhibition. Last year, prior to?my first trip to Hong Kong, I?only had a blunt idea on what to expect as far as the?range of watches on display was concerned 每 and the fact that over 750 exhibitors were reported to be present made me wonder even more about what exactly I was going to see there. Held between?September 8 and 12, 2015, this year's event will host some 780?exhibitors in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and we'll be there once again 每 let's see what are some of the more notable points of discussion. You may find my detailed report from the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair of 2014 here?每 in a nutshell, though, what you need to know is that this fair is almost exclusively reserved for the watch industry, with just one open day for the public. That means that this is a major event where from the?smaller workshops all the way to?hu
My question is quite simple. I enjoy several different shooting sports, involving rifles, shotguns and handguns. Is shooting to much "Shock" for my watch?
Since ProDiver was kind enough to post pix of his father's Hamilton, which looks a lot like this one, here is a bit of detail:It was from the indomitable house of Hamilton Watch Company that this superb watch was produced in 1941. Named the “Wesley,” this example transcends all stylistic barriers of the day, moving away from the round or oval shape to flirt with the angular bar-and-lug styling that is so reminiscent of the Empire State Building and Park Avenue set. Nothing about this watch is timid, from its magnificent pearlescent dial featuring solid 18k gold hand-applied, heavily stylized Arabic numerals — to its tank styled case and heavy, faceted lugs. Also revealed is a glimpse of Hamilton’s mechanical ingenuity: a perfectly balanced, cleaned-oiled-and-timed, 19 ruby jeweled “982” movement with solid nickel plates.
Model 5856-5010. I will post pictures when I receive it.
Can anyone tell me anything about this beutiful Patek that must date back to the 30's or 40's. It was my Grandfathers watch that has been handed down to me. I think it is awesome. I would appreciate any information that anyone has on it. Thanks
