Martin Scorsese's Watch
Yesterday Martin Scorsese was a guest on the Daily Show. He contributed an entertaining interview, during which I couldn't help but notice his watch. It looks to have a rather large case diameter, and I once I was aware of it I couldn't help but feel Scorsese was flaunting it the whole interview!Unfortunately I have no idea what this mystery watch is, but I love learning what admirable and sensible celebrities have on their wrists. My New Incoming...First in Over 2 Years
It's been a while since I made a change to my small watch collection. TRF introduced me to the world of AP, and so I think it's fitting that I post my new incoming here as well. My first AP is the Panda ROC and also my last addition, which was over 2 years ago. I had enjoyed the ROC tremendously but unfortunately I had to sell it to fund this new piece. I will really miss my Panda ROC, but the new AP is absolutely stunning and exceeds what I had imagined it to be. I had been dreaming of it since it was first released the month after my son was born, and I have now finally acquired it. Fake or real ?
I own a Seamaster Professional Chronograph and in a moment of spare time had a look on ebay to see how much they were going for.I'm seeing 2 types of dial : my seamaster which doesn't have a double dash at the top of it (image 1) and others which do (image 2).The image on the omega website doesn't have the double dash : .omegawatches/collecti...-5-mm/22258000I googled around for pictures and have noticed there seems to be a somewhat even split between those which do have a double-dash at the top and those which don't.I even found some dealers online which are selling watches with the double dash e.g..watchgallery.au/Watch...h-Titaniu.aspxJust for interest : are the ones with the double dashes fake ? Or is there an alternative dial style to the UK where I live ?
