Longines Longines 7471 wrist watches news:
In a stroke of serendipity, 2013 marks both the 180th anniversary of Swiss watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre and the 100th anniversary of British luxury automaker Aston-Martin, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s partner for nearly a decade in the development of special, luxury-auto-inspired timepieces. The new timepieces comprise two from JLC’s Master collection, the Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm and Master Hometime; and one from the AMVOX collection, the AMVOX5 World Chronograph Cermet, which marks the debut of a new case material. The Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm Aston Martin combines a world-time display with a mechanical alarm function. The time on the alarm can be read easily on the left-hand side of the dial at 9 o’clock, where two juxtaposed disks, one displaying the hours from 1 to 12 and the other showing the quarter-hours, appear through a large, semicircular aperture. The watch contains Jaeger-LeCoultre’s automatic Caliber 912, and is equipped with a “compres
My father left me his Girard-Perregaux, which he bought just after World War II, probably in Europe where he worked for the State Department. Would anyone like to help me identify it - model, year, details, value? Concerning it's functionality, it must be wound by hand and seems to keep reasonable time however the extra function[ buttons don't work any longer. I cannot set the date, day nor month (except by advancing the hands) and the month is unmovable altogether. Thanks, Gene RichardsGirard-Perregaux - Dad's.jpgGirard-Perregaux - Dad's 02.jpg
If Patek expanded the Nautilus line to include a two tone 5711/1AR or 5711/1AJ with the same blue dial shade as the 5980/1AR, would you want to buy one?
Hello everyone! I finally joined the club. After snooping around here and traveling to a few AD's to try on different models I am finally a Patek owner. I went with a 5712 in stainless and a 5146 in WG with cream face. LOVE THEM. I really think these two will serve me well for work and casual. Unfortunately, I have already identified a couple more Patek needs... but that's half the fun.I am on a short business trip, but I will post some pics upon my return. Thanks to the many posters here who have helped me through posts and comments. Special thanks to those who have provided me priceless opinions and help via PM. It is truly appreciated.
I just can't seem to find time to wear it..?
