I LOVE this watch! I get compliments on it all the time. Nice quality, easy to read, looks hot. The only blem I have with it is that it is not water resistant. If it were water resistant, it would be perfect.

Speedmaster 57 in the sun. Red on blue looks great! Wish I had waited one year and got the broad arrow (did not know it's coming), but still an awesome watch.

Saw new PO/8500
Went into an Omega boutique yesterday to check out Omega offerings, and man was I impressed with the new PO w/ 8500 movement. The new exhibition back and the super luminova on the date wheel is AWESOME. They even had a woman's version my wife was drooling over. Great stuff. That being said, with a $6100 sticker price, I'd still lean toward Rolex at that price. Very well done though.

5970 vs 5270?
I am starting to debate my next Patek purchase. I am dead set on either getting the 5970 or the new 5270. I like the 5970r aesthetically the most and the 5970p the second most but there is a big difference in price. I am debating going with the new 5270. Obviously it is only made in white at this time. I would love your overall thoughts and thoughts on short and long term collectibility of each piece. Thanks in advance!
