Omega Omega 18366 wrist watches news:
Yeah, so I did watch some of "Dancing with the Stars" tonight.. So did anyone catch what ol' Buzz was wearing on his wrist? I thought I saw a PO in one shot. Not sure what he wore during the dance. I'm thinking he's the only one wearing a watch during the event tonight.Just havin' some fun here.
I just bought an Alpha Radiomir but am yet to receive it. The one thing that I was a little hesitant about was buying a watch without a second hand. Now, I am sure that the Chinese hacking movement in the Radiomir is used in other Alphas, so I thought what's to stop me adding a second hand. I emailed Alpha and they were really less than helpful and said there was no second hand to fit because there weren't any long enough. I find this hard to believe as the Multi-function watch measures about 51mm and the Radiomir is 45mm.If you look at the pics you will see that there is a disc at the end of the staff on the Radiomir, which is basically just the centre of the second hand, and comparing the two watches, the hour and minute hands on the Mult-function look identical to the Radiomir. Anyone tried to add a second hand to this watch?
The gauntlet was thrown (click HERE for the start of the banter), and now you get to vote: which of these two watches is better looking?:1) Omega Constellation2) Hamilton CoronadoWe're only voting on the watch head's design and visual appeal - not the strap, not the composition or quality of the picture, and not the condition either one is in (although they're both in equally good shape). Okay, let the games begin! The poll will close in 2 weeks.
Can anyone help me choose the watch for my husband's birthday please? he has always wanted a Cartier Santos 100 and he has looked at the steel/gold version in the past. I have found a couple of pre-owned versions at a price I can manage. One is auto and one is quartz. I am pretty sure he wants automatic, am I right in thinking they hold their value better as well? Also is it crucial to have papers if the watch is bought from an established bricks-and-mortar specialist dealer? Thanks in advance
I thought it would be nice to start a continuing thread where we can alert other members if there's an interesting/hard-to-get watch that's up for grabs at an AD. I'll start: there's a black Submariner Date, black GMT-Master II, and TT Skydweller with a black dial at my AD. They're in the Bay Area, but will ship tax-free. I'm not sure what the forum policy is on stating the name of ADs, so just PM me if you're interested.
