I was looking for something to replace the watch I've worn for the past 10 yrs. While I don't know that this will last the same amt of time, as it is lighter and I tend to be hard on watches, it is a VERY nice, simple and chic watch. I've received many compliments on it already. Pulled the trigger on a 111
Thank you all for your help and counsel to a newbie in search of his 1st Panerai it has been very much appreciated. I spent some time at the AD last week trying on PAM's and I had decided on the 111 but the AD sells for MSRP no discount plus sales tax it was $7400 out the door. Its just not in me to pay retail for a watch. I scored a complete set never worn purchased new from AD Dec 2013 with an extra OEM panerai black strap of course the trade off is sacrificing the warrantee card in my name but the dollar savings makes it very palatable
