Chopard 1152061 wrist watches news:
As it say's really!Just wondered which one you guys would prefer and why?
Hey guys !I finished the restoration on a VERY nice 1916 WWI Elgin Trench Watch with a Shrapnel Guard today so I thought that I'd share my results. This is a REAL WWI solid nickel Shrapnel Guard and NOT that CHEAP chrome plated reproduction that is flooding ebay right now.It has the "PAT/PEND/DUO" stamp underneath on the rim, it's the real McCoy ! ! ! No-name solid nickel case, I have concluded through my extensive research that in all likelihood Joeseph Fahy's & Company probably manufactured this case. These cases are probably my favorite, they were VERY well made and they snap together with an extremely firm "POP" ! ! !I installed a brand new inner sleeve in the crown tube and a brand new stem on the original factory crown, brand new GS crystal as well. The 7 jewel 1916 gilded size 3/0s movement has been completely taken apart and cleaned. The enamel military dial is in SUPERB without and hairlines, chips or cracks !I painted the center reservoir of the hour and minute hands with whi
Debaufre Aircraft-8Price: $525The 44-mm Black/Green Aircraft-8 watch features a black stainless steel case with glowing green dial. The charismatic 44-mm design, with the captivating face and the large crown, set it apart from commonness, while modernizing an instrument paying homage to the pioneer pilots of the early 1900's. The Sapphire crystal glass ensures security and beauty, while the sweeping second hand gracefully rotates around the elegant and prominent dial highlighted with Super-LumiNova markings.
Hey guys I'm thinking of upgrading to the AP ROO 26400SO Or the 26401 in rose gold old dial. I'm a one watch guy and I assume the RG44 Would be hard to wear as a daily. Also considering the daydate40. For about the same price I could have a solid gold Rolex or a stainless steel offshore. I love the design on AP a tad bit more than the daydate. Any input would be appreciated 😅
Had a small gathering with a few watch enthusiasts here in Montreal tonight. It was organized by Canadian watch collectors and WatchPaper.Had the chance (for the first time) to see small and big, old and new or 16610 and 116610 next to each other. Although the 16610 is somewhat more charming, with the smaller markers, black bezel and tapered lugs - I can safely say the 116610 is a sure better option for me. It's just perfect!Thought I'd share some pics - enjoy!IMG_1597.jpgIMG_1598.jpgIMG_1599.jpgIMG_1600.jpgIMG_1607.jpgSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
