- This watch was a Christmas Gift to my girl friend. She loves it, the only negative I could say is that it is hard to adjust the size.

Chopard 207470-5004 wrist watches news:
A different vintage pocketwatch than the RR Grade watches that I have previously posted, but a beautiful one just the same, in splendid running condition.Elgin manufactured millions of watches in its 100 years of existence in the United States, from 1864 to 1964, beginning with pocketwatches, then primarily wristwatches made in the 20th century until Elgin finally closed its doors in America.Benjamin W. Raymond, a Chicago Mayor, along with his partner, J. C. Adams founded the National Watch Company in 1864 - later named the Elgin National Watch Company, then again renamed just Elgin Watch Company. The company was named after the city where it was established, Elgin, Illinois. B. W. Raymond placed his name and signature on the very high grade pocketwatches that were produced in the early days of the company. This particular watch, manufactured long before the Railroad Grade specifications for pocketwatches were drawn up, but none-the-less, a high grade, accurate, and expensive watch for
MY MEISTERTAUCHER IS HOME!!! - YouTubeYes, it was exciting enough to make a video. if you've ever recieved a new watch in the mail, or an old watch that was serviced on the mail, you know the feeling. anyway, Al from Archer Watches not only returned a perfectly-running watch, but he included a DVD with photographs of EVERY. SINGLE. THING he did to my watch. it's amazing to go through. i'll post some pix of it later - nothing like seeing the guts of something u've had on ur wrist for 10 years, right?i also got all the paperwork and receipts from the testing machines, which is cool, plus a pen and peanut brittle. i didn't think my day could get any better when my watch finally showed up, but Al really went above and beyond my expectations for a watch servicing.FEDEX.jpgunboxing 2.jpgunboxing 4.jpg
Hey Guys, I've been a long time viewer/drooler but this is my first time posting on the forums. I need this forum's expert advice on choosing a new watch. I've been working really hard and saving up since a year for a reward so I've decided to purchase my first AP as a birthday gift to myself (I'm turning 24 in a few months).I currently own a Hublot Big Bang Chrono 44mm Steel/Ceramic and a Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL in Steel. I use the Hublot as a weekend watch and plan on selling the Chopard. I plan on keeping this watch for the next 10 years or so. I've shortlisted the following watches:1. Royal Oak Chrono in Steel: 26320ST.OO.1220ST.01/02 - Seems a bit understated but more practical than the others due its ability to fit under the cuff and go well from day to night situations. It was comfortable on my wrist but I haven't worn a steel bracelet in a while so not sure about how I would adapt to it. 2. Royal Oak Offshore Chrono: 26170ST.OO.D101CR.02 (old Panda) or 26470ST.OO.A027CA.01 (
