Chopard 277473-5008 wrist watches news:
Does anyone know if Omega plans on bringing back the sunburst dials for their Aqua Terra lineup? I've been scouting around for a new purchase for the past few weeks. I have my choices narrowed down and Omega is, of course, always in the running. I'm just not sure how I feel about the teak dials. They look ok in photos but I haven't had a chance to check one out first hand. What do you guys think? How do you like your teak dials? Aesthetically, any thoughts on how they compare to the previous sunburst dials (I'm partial to blue dials.....this month anyway)? I always liked how the sunburst dials catch the light, just wondering if the teaks have the same appeal.

Well received the first of several watches this week. I really like the vintage look of this piece. The bracelet is thick and a great brushed finish. It is on the small side for me, but stays true to the U.S. military style watches of WWII era. Hello, i just bought my first manual winding watch on ebay, its a Tissot Seastar from the 1960's.Never used a manual winding watch before, so have some queries:-How long does it run once wound? I like to wear my watches in rotation which means i would probably wear this one maybe 2 days a week, so if one does not wind it regularly does it get ruined or something? Also any other pointers regarding these kind of watches will be appreciated.(if there are similar threads from the past, pls post, would really appreciate that. Thanks in advance.
