Chopard 384238-5002 wrist watches news:
So I'm doing my regular day-off hunting and come across a pink gold vintage Ω logo buckle. It looks decent, so I send an e-mail using the "Contact" option. I noticed all the seller's buckles are priced at 155 Euros despite their metal contentsolid gold, gold plated, stainless, etc. I ask what he'd take for the particular buckle - here's the conversation sans the greetings and sign-offs:Me "Hi. I see all your buckles are marked with the same price. What would you take for this 14ct rose/pink gold 16 mm Omega buckle?"Peter Wagenaar of Omega-Fanatic (sales site is watch-fanatic.com): "I do not understand your questionYou see the price and now you ask what is the price ?Omega solid red /pink gold - Buckles & Parts for Vintage WatchesThe price wil be higher next week as the gold price is rising"Me"So your saying your marked price is not negotialble? And regardless of what metal a buckle is you charge 155 euros for it?"PW"Just raised the priceGold price is risingSo do not buy
Hello! I am new to this forum. I have been trying to study and learn about watches for the past year or so, and about a year ago I bought my first watch of what I hope to be a big collection some day - A Victorinox Ambassador Automatic with day and date, blue face, and stainless steel bracelet. I am very happy with the watch, and am ready to purchase another addition to the collection. I know a little about watches, but definitely have much to learn.A friend has a Fortis Cosmonaut automatic watch that he received as a gift. He does not really know much about watches, and in the several years he has owned it, has only worn it three times. He has the original box and papers, and everything is perfect. It is stainless steel with a black face, and displays the day and date. The model number is 610.22.11M. I beleive the original MSRP on this watch, from what I was able to research online, was approximately $800. I attached a stock online picture of this model to this post.My question is wha
Hello first time posting in Patek Forum. I am looking for my first Patek and not certainly my last. I wear a suit to work and work in investment and finances, I wear a Rolex but feel self conscious for being judged by older coworkers, i'm 26 years old. That being said the Aquanaut 5167 in Rubber looks like a super under the radar watch that I feel like I can wear with suit to casual. But I see the Nautilus 5711 as a grail watch for me but feel very flashy and wearing a $26000 wouldn't look to well at my age. So here is the question.-Should I buy the 5167 on rubber and save for the 5711 3-5 more year? Or just get 5711 first and 5167 later? I will get both eventually -How do you guys feel seeing a 26 year old with a Patek if you were my co workers or boss.-I know I should go with what my heart desires. I really want both watch. What watch will work better for someone at my age, Thank you!Sorry if I sound like a broken record.
Does anyone know the new price for euro zone for the 5167R? would interest me to know if they raised it 7% or less/more, since I am kind of planning to get one probably within 8 months…Sorry I did mistake in choosing the section and now I can't erase my thread...
Hi thereWas wondering what is the best way to go right now. With the caliber 3285 now available on the new GMT Pepsi and Root beer, would you buy a current model GMT LN or Batman equipped with 3186 or wait perhaps until the next Baselworld? Does it take usually a year until Rolex roll out new movements?I guess the same applies with the Submariner which is still due to get the 3235 movement...ThanksPS: The GMT TT Root beer is great IMHO
