After some years of development De GRISOGONO released a fantastic new caliber in a polarizing new timepiece with a name I can barely pronounce. Try saying "Otturatore" a few times really fast. I am sure that means something sexually satisfying in Italian, but this is a Swiss brand through and through. De GRISOGONO is a rare band in the US, but one that has a lot of cool and complex pieces. While a lot of brands like to call themselves "avant garde, " I have to say that De GRISOGONO actually is.What makes me sad is how expensive this watch is. It is about 69,100 - 71,100 Swiss Francs depending on the style. It doesn't need to be that expensive, even though the brand did put a lot of work in to the movement development. Offer a steel-cased version for $20,000 and then at least you have my attention more. In June 2013, UK watchmaker Bremont introduced the Codebreaker ¨C a flyback chronograph with GMT function made in collaboration with the historic Bletchley Park Trust. We showed you the watch moments after launch, highlighting Bletchley Park's important role as the center of code breaking operations for the British Army during WWII. The Codebreaker incorporates a number of real historical artifacts into the design, including parts of the punchcards used for code breaking. I could not get the images of this watch out of my head. I actually wanted this last year when I bought the 5712G. There was something I loved about being able to wear a PP no matter the weather and not worry about it getting wet or high humidity to ruin a leather strap!This watch is as comfortable a watch as I have ever had and extremely easy to read! Decision time! Help needed!
Hi All,I am in the process of purchasing my first house, therefore I need to liquidate some money to help and have decided to sell my two Rolex¡¯s, my 116520 Daytona and 16610 Sub.In doing so I need to replace both watches with one... here lies my problem.To give you some background info, I have had in the past, a 116233 and 116610LV along side these current two watches.I am torn between the following (baring in mind this will now be my only watch in collection for the next couple of years minimum):116613LB116710BLNR116622 Rhodium DialI love all of them for different reasons but am torn between them.Also something to mention; I would have to pay over list for the BLNR but under for both the others.
