The watch sold for an astounding $52,500, five times its pre-sale estimate and a world record for that reference.Elvis’s Omega, a rare, black-dialed Constellation Calendar produced around 1960, was the most high-profile of 269 timepieces on the block at Antiquorum’s “Important Vintage and Modern Timepieces” auction, held at its Manhattan headquarters on June 12. The watch has an automatic chronometer movement with center seconds and date and a steel case with rose-gold plating. What if Omega did not replace the 2254.50?
What's the worst that could happen?Would they lose too much of market share in quality divers? Or would would -be buyers and brand followers simply and happily settle for what possibly could be a Black Bond SMP as its' replacement?Omega, it has been said by some have too wide a range of watches. I don't particularly agree since I think that variety is one of the appealing factors of the brand and not every other watch with an Omega logo looks the same. What if Omega decided to streamline their range and offered only the Bond SMP as its' one and only 300M diver? There are two divers in the production line of course, the Bond and the PO. Hello my name is Christian and I'm from Holland so sorry for my bad English! I've got the Hamilton Jazzmaster Auto Chrono H32616553I like to know if there is a possibility to let the chrono dials stay at the begin (12 O''clock) position. Now the 3 dials (needles) from the chronograph are constant moving.I can reset them to the top position but when a minute has past the top dial is moving one minute to the right again. So is it possible to let the 3 chronograph dials(pointers) point at 12 o clock CONSTANTLY? Thank you for your answer!greetings,Christian de Bruin

Problem with Chrono?
I just bought a new Speedy Professional Moonwatch from Jomashop and once I would it and checked the chronology function, I found something odd:When the chronology second hand moves between 59 seconds and 1:00, the minute sub-dial advances to show 1min. So, If i stop the chronology at 59.3 or 59.5 seconds, the watch will register 1:59.5.Has anyone else seen/experienced this? It seems like it shouldn't be happening. I looked at a friend's speedy (different model) and his chronology behavior seemed normal. Thinking I should probably return it as defective?Thanks for any advice!-Evan
