17 mm screw pin
Greeting to all,Last week i posted a pic of a watch i got on e-bay. Well i love it,but it's just a little tight to wear, does anyone know a way to enlarge or lengthen the band. i was thinking of adding one link from my cockpit near the clasp but i need a 17 mm pin with screw. I just need 1/8 to 1/4 inch to be happy with it. Can anyone PLEASE HELP ME, otherwise,the only way i can wear the watch comfortably is to lose alot of weight(WHICH I'M DOING ANYWAY) to buy another link from breitling would be my last resort.Gregg

Watch brand, that is...Last week, I won a moderately beat up, but surprisingly attractive Elgin that has a similar case to my Bumper Automatic. Apart from the dial, the crystal, and the scratched caseback, it's pretty cool. Definitely worth the $22.It came with a bonus - a little Bulova. Of course, as a freebie with another watch in rough condition, it's in EVEN ROUGHER condition...I had hitherto paid little attention to Bulovas. But this one caught my interest. It's called a Senator, and was produced from 1940-1949. Its looks just seem to capture the era nicely, and it's definitely different from anything you'll see out there these days. Next thing I knew, I was searching Bulova forums, learning all about it, and even doing a little scanning of things on Ebay.Next thing I knew, I was submitting an offer on a BIN/OBO Senator in Rose Gold RGP with a copper-colored, 'exploding number' dial. And I won it.But now what do I tell all my Hamiltons, Elgins, and Lord Elgins? Somebody sto

First AP: Royal Oak or RO Chrono?
I am thinking about picking up my first AP. I have long been a Panerai Collector and am thinking about venturing into the world of AP. I thought I wanted a ROO at first, but after looking at a bunch, I have decided that I like the clean lines of the normal Royal Oak or RO chrono. I understand that the Chrono does not have an in house movement, and I can live with that since I am used to the Older Panerai's having the same thing. I am a bit torn between the 41mm black dial Royal Oak and the same black dial Chrono. Any opinions or suggestions? Thanks in Advance.Jordan
