Citizen EM0380-81N wrist watches news:
Hello everyone,I hope I posted this in the right section, and if it's not can a Mod please move it? I had a watch a I loved stolen a couple years ago, and for the life of me I can't remember what it was. I'd like to get another one if I can find out what it is. Here's a picture I've got with it (best one I have), but it's out of focus so I'm hoping someone here recognizes it. I remember it had a blue backlight, and glow-in-the-dark hour markers and squiggles on the face. I think the words say "Timex", "Military", and "Indiglo", but I could be wrong. Note: The wristband is not original, it's a timex one I bought.Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated, I would love to get another one.
Guys what tools do you use for strap changes?I've seen a few recommend the AP bands kit which is a Bergeon 1.4 screwdriver and their own brand 1.4 screwdriver block, is this kit any good?I know on my the Oyster bracelets they recommend hollow ground over the pointed so I use the ref:2100 rather then a standard Bergeon 1.6, is the tip type important on the AP?And I've never used a screwdriver block but guess it would be easier then trying to use two screwdrivers? Thanks in advance
Is there a watch in your life that you had been looking for all over, and then finally found it, only to double guess yourself and let it slip thru your fingers... and then regret it for not pulling the trigger when you could?Browsing thru some older pictures on my phone, I found this one, taken in December 2012 at the AP Boutique in Madrid. I had been thinking of a 15300 for a long time, and decided to finally go to a Boutique to try it out in the flesh. Originally I wanted to compare the white vs the black dial. And then I found this one...IMG_0141.jpgI fell in love with it. I thought I would buy it there and then. But I needed to go back to the hotel to get my passport to do the tax free thing.Long story short, I got to the hotel, and I thought, it is late, perhaps I will go back tomorrow to get it, and I will think it over better.Well, long story short, the next two days were crazy busy at the office, leaving at 9 PM both days (that's how Spanish business hours work somet
First off I need to give a HUGE thanks to to member lhawli for helping me secure this watch. He put me in touch with his go to guy at his local AD and two days later I am able to take some pics to share with the community. Some pics (as I know everyone loves pics!)
