Citizen FE1086-04A The Related Reviews:
- BEST WATCH I EVER OWNED, UNTIL IT UP AND DIED AFTER 3 YEARS DURING SOME VERY TAME WATER SPORTS. IT ANGERS ME THAT THE VECTOR DOES NOT HAVE MORE STAYING POWER, BUT I AM BUYING ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE IT WAS THE BEST CLIMBING WATCH WHILE IT LASTED.

- I like this watch for everyday use. It's great for the price. And I like the fact that it has an expandable band and is silver and gold tone. Very happy with it.

Citizen FE1086-04A wrist watches news:
have a good one guys!Frank
M¨¹hle-Glash¨¹tte sent me four more watches to review for the forum - and I completed my evaluation over the holiday weekend. Look for the reviews to be posted here in the M-G forum over the next couple of weeks. This brings the total count of M-G watches I've evaluated up to six, and I realized something quite startling. I have accuracy tested all the examples I received using my Orbita Watch Tester. All six models tested ran fast, and five of the six ran within COSC Chronometer standards - the one that didn't missed the cut off by a hair. :eek:I don't think I've seen such consistent, positive timing behavior from any other watch manufacturer I've had the opportunity to work with - I'm quite impressed.
Check out the donk for the watch in auction 270839653662.I'm reminded of coastcat's recent "speechless" thread.Someone obviously had a higher purpose for the 982M and swapped it for a low grade Swiss movement. Probably dropped the 982M into a Patek or somesuch.
Hi AllMy Tag 1000 which has been going strong since the mid-80s has finally had its first major issue. The face has slipped round in the case. When I pull out the crown I can still adjust the time / date, albeit the date seems to be a little off center. This is an early 980.13N model.Based on some research in the forum it sounds like the dial feet have broken or possibly the stem although I think it is the former. See picture below.tag.jpgI spoke to the local repair shop and they said they dont do these repairs as soldering new feet discolors the face or gluing causes problems. They suggested buying a new dial (not so easy) and then they would repair for $75-$100. I would like to keep original face and avoid theese high costs of dial and repair. Any other suggestions welcomed???ThanksAndy
