Is there a Oris image database?
There are a lot of Oris watches online coming from Asia, and I can't tell which ones are real. I'm sure many are fakes, especially when two 'same" models have different hands and markers. Especially the older ones, they're not on Oris's site. How can I tell if the dial, the hands, the caseback, the movement (if they show it) is correct? Or if such a model even existed?Are there any reputable online sellers (you can pm if this is against policy)? I know, go to an AD, but looking for a bargain these days, please don't hold it against me!

Newly finished Elgin Trench Watch, Pictures Taken in my New Photo Box
I finished this 1918 Elgin Trench Watch yesterday and took the pictures with my new home photo studio box. The first picture was taken under natural light outside in front of my house. The polished nickel shines nice and bright and has that mirror like finish. Pictures 2-5 were taken inside the photo studio box where the light is much softer. In certain angles it looks like the the case sort of has a frosty finish and only small portions have that mirror like finish. I am able to get much closer shots inside the box using macro but do they look better? I'm concerned about that frosty looking finish when so much time was taken to remove all of the scratches, damage, grime and oxidation. In a few of the pictures inside the box it looks like the bezel has damage but if fact it is just a reflection, like picture #2 in between the 10 & 11 on the bezel. Should I ditch the photo box and go back to the regular way I take pictures or do these look okay??? All opinions are welcome!!!

Omega Geneve Dynamic
HelloAfter getting some great advice and guidance on my Milsub 5513 on the Rolex Vintage forum I thought I'd nip over here regarding my Omega Geneve Dynamic.As with the 5513, the Omega belonged to my old man and it was passed to me when he died in 2008.We think it was purchased for his 30th birthday which would mean it was bought in 1976. As there's no day/date function I presume it's either the 1967-1974 model (165.0039) or the 1968-1971 (ST 135.0033). Other than that I can't find out much more and still haven't found any photos that match my example.Photos below, so as with the Milsub, any advice gratefully recieved!RegardsH
