Just saw one at a Rolex dealer. The head looked larger than normal.would this be a transitional?
I found this rather rare Illinois movement in a Illinois Marquis a while back. It is engraved a lot like the larger 3/0-sized 307 movement, but in 6/0 size. It is stamped the "ARISTOCRAT" and I think that sizes-up the movement pretty well. :) I forget the # quoted in Fred's book, but I know they're not common.
