- Blue drusy is stunning. Very pleased with appearance and quality. Fit is similar to bracelets. With a wrist watch will move around. Not for those who like tight fitting nonmovement watches.

Corum 383.330.V701.AA12 wrist watches news:
Stopped by the Jewler today to have a look at the Rolex watches he had in stock. I struct up a conversation with the man behind the counter. He told me that in the many well to do circles of the world, Rolex is considered a low end or cheap watch. He said there is a lot of time pieces that are far better than the Rolex. He started to tell me about the Patek and a few others. I couldn't beleive what he told me. I always thought Rolex was rated numer one in the Horological world. I guess that shows how much I don't know! Just wondering though, has anyone here ever heard Rolex being considered a low end in Swiss watches.Rob

Hello Gang...Time for a new Spotlight. This is one of those Illinois that proves you don't have to break the bank to get a really cool watch!First of all if you don't have a copy of Fred's book, you are missing the boat."The Illinois Watch, The Life and Times of a Great American Watch"This beauty can be seen on page 126 and this is the watch shown lower left. The first thing you will notice is the incredibly cool Art Deco Numerals. This is the Commodore (non metal band) in WGFIt comes from the "Modern" period of Illinois watches and was made in 1931Sides:Back:Model Number 616 (Keystone/J. OK whose got one of these? model 232.32.44.22.01.001My AD has 2 left, orig list was $7,700 hes willing to take $5,900. Brand new. Co-axial. Believe these originally came out in 2014 or so. Still shows on Omega website with pic and specsments? This price seems too good to pass up. Have one on hold.I think its pretty cool. Lacquered black dial, black liq met bezel. Only orange marking is the GMT word on face. Black, nice rubber strap.
I wanted to see how many of you guys had insurance on your time pieces. I have only this one Panerai and I was thinking about getting insurance on it since I have insurance on the wife's ring in case it gets lost or stolen but wondered if it was worth getting on the watch.I got quoted at $755 a year for insurance to add it to my homeowners. As much as i love the piece of mind I am wondering if it's really worth it. At that rate I could just save it up and buy a new watch in a few years lol.EDIT: Just heard back about insurance. That was the price of everything I have on the policy together lol. Other Jewelry, homeowners etc...not just the watch alone...sorry guys.
