Corum 82.150.20 wrist watches news:
The story of Jack Heuer is captivating, to say the least. In his recently published autobiography, the long-time CEO and Founder of Tag Heuer chronicled his time at the helm of the family business, which he began to lead at the age of 28. Among other things, Heuer created one of the most iconic watches in history, the Carrera, and set the stage for what would become a major player in the industry today. If you can't get your hands on the autobiography, don't fret ¨C you can learn about Jack Heuer's history, albeit, condensed in this video from Tag Heuer.
I've tested and owned a LOT of different kinds of watch winders. Here are the features I'd want if I could make a winder:1. It's got to have variable, programable heads: I think Orbita originated this trend, with their watch heads which could be set for several different speeds via "dip switches" you can change via an access pannel on many of their winder models. More recently Rotolution offers maximum flexibility and programability via the USB port and software interface. I think the biggest fear most people have in using a watch winder is that the winder will over time damage their watch. Making sure the watch does not get more than the maximum turns per day the movement needs to stay wound goes a long way in overcoming this fear.2. It's got to be quiet. Most winders I've tested over the last 5 years have got this figured out. Most winders are used in bedrooms. The problem I see now is that many winders I've used get noisier over time. But the higher end winders are, even
Was off from work today so I decided I wanted to take a look at my grail. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362425100.916324.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362425146.616296.jpgThis watch makes me want to sell off a few and get one preowned. I've only tried on the 15400 before and liked it! But this!!! Wow in love...
Hi GuysJust got a vintage Omega Constellation 1969. The date is not working would like to know why. The date changes when I pull out the winder to the first position and set the date but when the watch is ticking and goes past 12 o'clock the date will not changeplease advice Thanks Rob
As promised a couple of photos of my new 5980. I'd also like to share a few thoughts so far.Chronographs are my favourite complication, not because they are the most useful (I rarely need to time anything) but I enjoy them being active insofar as I can engage with the chronograph rather than being passive. The 5980 has been my grail watch since I first saw it, and was a watch I was aspiring to own a few years down the line. However when I read that it was being discontinued it was a case of now or never for a brand new one from an AD. Getting it now meant selling my SS Daytona, Seadweller and Sub LV - these were watches I did not think I would EVER sell so the 5980 has a lot to live up to. Fortunately I am happy to say it is meeting, if not surpassing my expectations. Some of my highlights from my brief ownership so far are as follows:I like my watches on bracelets, and I think the bracelet on the 5980 (and no doubt the 5711) is simply beautiful. I have heard it said that the bracelet
