Omega 123.50.38.21.08.001 wrist watches news:
Stopped by the AD today to check out their new arrivals. Started talking about the Milgauss and SS Daytona I am waiting for and he said he has heard that the Milgauss Anniversary (Green Glass) production has been stopped. He was very open about not knowing for sure but he had heard that.Has anyone on this forum heard similar rumors? If I had to bet, based on the reputation of this AD, my money would be on him, but as I said, he was very open and honest about not knowing for sure. Thanks All.
well guys, I am new to the forum and only bought my first IWC (Portugese ref IW500114 a month ago) and collected Zeniths and Baumes prior to IWC (and it ain't gonna stop!). ADs and Non-AD dealers and Boutiques have made for big ongoing investigative pleasure for me over the past years, and I have found here in Hong Kong at least:Boutiques: that would not be able to give any discount, and would have very good boutique-exclusive pieces, like the Platinum 5001, and the Platinum 3762Authorized Dealers: that would straight up offer 10% and not budge a cent more because they can't. Comparatively, Zenith ADs, especially for older models, are able to drop ratesNon AD dealers: who can offer up to 22% usually, because of parallel imports from Europe, usually Switzerland, and ship it in. Warranty is international, and purchased as though from a dealer/AD (I'm not sure which) from Switzerland or Europe.Websites: especially from the United States, that provide up to a massive 32%, and purchased as
Oris Flight Timer R4118 Limited EditionThe Master of Air ReturnsEverything about this pilot¡¯s watch is exceptional ¨C starting with the number of edition:The Oris Flight Timer is produced in an edition of exactly 4118 units worldwide, all individually numbered. Why 4118? This is a tribute to the legendary Hurricane R4118 and the great deeds of aviation. In the Battle of Britain the British Hurricane dominated the air. Half a century later Peter Vacher, an engineer and pilot, discovered in India the wreckage of a R4118 and restored it ¨C leading to the great moment recently, where the old fighter plane again flew over England. This exclusive pilot¡¯s watch with High-Mech automatic movement unites past and present. Just like cockpit watches of old, it is equipped with a big vertical crown that sets a second time zone by turning the ring on the dial. The push buttons and crown are also exceptional, as they are on the left- hand side of the watch. The edition comes with the facinating book ¡°Hu
We all have our favorites which means some watches sit in wait for us to wear them. Do you ever feel "guilty" (not really the emotion, but close) that one or more of your watches sees little to no wrist time?I do.They're starting to become "children" to me, and I feel bad if one gets left out. Talk about crazy.
Guess who got the award for 2012 watch of the year???TAG HEUER. This award is the highest watchmaking honour.Maybe it was a good thing that SWATCH GROUP wants to stop supplying everyone with their movement. Now TAG, instead of being just a watch case maker has transform into a full watch producer. Anyway all those ETA is a very old tech movement,IMO. Here is a pic of the watch that won. Some might think Swatch Group action is bad for the swiss watchmaking industry. But for the watch loversLink:calibre11/mikrogirder...-aiguille-dor/
