While I started a few weeks ago, my first watch review is now up on AskMenwatches-dealer here - on the Guepard RetroSwiss watch. Ok, there have been a few HMT related posts in the recent past, so I'll keep this short.After a lot of hunting around for the rare HMT Pilot, I managed to locate a shop about an hour's drive from my place. So, a few narrow misses on the highway (rickshaws can be scary) and a lot of walking later I was finally at the shop!A lil later I was out with all these!:Two of the pilots will be passed on. New 5296r or pre-owned 5146?
Hi guys,I've been chewing this over for a while now and would appreciate any input. Of the 5296 I'm certain that it would be the R non-sector version, I love the clean lines, applied indices and class of a watch that really doesn't shout but whispers class (poetic licence there, sorry). I'm also attracted to the idea of new. For around similar money a pre owned 5146 is also possible, but on this on not sure if which variant. I wanted a gold watch but the white gold G version seems a better combination than the R. This would probably be my last big watch purchase ( I'm sure that's been said a million times before) so I don't want to get it wrong. Fwiw I'm lucky enough to have a blue dial 5711 so this would be a companion piece that I would probably wear more often.Any thoughts or suggestions welcome

If you still have it. Let's see them. This is my 1st Rolex, a 14060M. F serial. I purchased in 2004/2005. It now sits on my old dad's wrist. I was visiting my parents today and snapped this pic. I've had many Rolex come and go since, but this one will never be sold. He's worn, cherished, trashed, and lived in this watch for the last few years. It's been serviced and crystal replaced after a mishap. Never polished. And he's never asked, can I wear it while I ..........?. I look forward to seeing your responses.
