I really loved getting this e-mail. It makes sense too. A watch company using daylight saving time (DST) as a reason to send out an piece of marketing e-mail. You'd think more watch companies would do this. I don't really have many people reminding me to do this, and with the new times for DST lately (thanks Congress!), it is more difficult than ever to remember. Being two days from now, Ernst Benz is the only company that took this opportunity to "say hi."What is funnier is the little message at the lower part of the image above, suggesting that if you need help adjusting the watch you should take it in to your local Ernst Benz dealer. Frankly, if you don't know how to adjust your watch back or forward one hour, you need to be hit in the face repeatedly and placed in the same rehabilitation home that they send people on airplanes who need help "fastening their seat buckle." Ok,I will be in the USA next week and called IWC AD in Beverly Hills,they are holding the watch for me until my arrival. I need you to answer these questions for me if possible: weight : how heavy is the watch ? not even google can answer that.. comfort : I'm a Rolex guy,used to SS Submariners. Rolex bracelets are very comfortable and they keep the watch flat on your wrist. Does the Top Gun feels the same way Toughness: lets face it,beside my Timex and Suuntos,I baby my Rolex not matter how tough they are,but there's always a door frame or a desk ready out there. How the Top Gun hanldes these issues ? Will the case collect some souvenirs dings and scratches ?? lumen : I still did not figure out if the TG has any lumen,at least on the main hands. I had an interesting discovery playing with my Nomos Club Datum watch and now I found out that the Maurice Lacroix Peseux does the same thing. I have a feeling all mechanical watches may do this, but I wanted to ask if yours does, and why.If you wind the watch as full as it can go (I'm obsessed with the click sound it makes when I twist it) and put a little pressure (not trying to break it) it starts beating really fast! The watch gets substantially louder and the second hand starts going much faster than it should. As soon as the pressure is released the watch goes back to normal time and quiets down.I used this on the Peseux ML to get it timed with a quartz watch since it doesn't hack and I did the same with the Nomos even though it does hack.SoTo the smart people of WTF, what is happening when I do this, and second...
