Looking into Oris this next year.
I have been on one of those impulsive Invicta buying sprees and have had a great time collecting some really fun stuff without spending a fortune. But today I decided I want to take a new direction this next year and want to look into Oris among other brands.Now I am not going to buy something right now, but I would love some suggestions from the experts here on what to look at and what prices to look for. I definitely like Divers style watches and Oris seems to have plenty of Divers. When I do buy I would go for new or a decent used Oris, and am looking to spend $1500 and down new, to $1000 and down used. Are my expectations too high for these lower prices or can I get a decent buy in this price range? Like I said this will be a little while off into the year probably but I would like to get an idea of what Oris offers. Thanks guys in advance!

New Patek Member seeks some help please
Hi, I am new to this forum. I have been collecting vintage watches for many years but have never owned a Patek Philippe. I was recently given the opportunity to purchase my first Patek. I am hoping to get some info on this watch. I am told it is from the 40's and is a ref 425 with a 9-90 movement. The watch isn't working right now. I believe it is overwound. I am considering sending it to Patek for repair and was told it could take months to get back. Can anyone tell me how much a watch like this is worth these days? About a month ago I had the pleasure of aquiring my first RGM watch & at Valter's request I thought I'd try my hand at writing my first review. Here goes!:Let me start by start by saying that I've been an RGM owner for just over a full month, & I am completely impressed by the design, build quality & accuracy of this beautiful time piece. Here are some picures taken today (with my Nikon P100):The overall measurements are 38.5mm across by about 10mm thick, & the case is made of Titanium (also available in stainless steel). At that classic size, it slides neatly underneath my cuff & is worn very comfortably. Most of the time I have a vintage watch on my wrist & this beauty wears just right by comparison. The dial layout is very crisp, clean & easy to read, but don't mistake it for being plain. Close inspection reveals beautifully clear black numbers across a clean gray background.
