Oris 660 7531 40 64 LS wrist watches news:
Could someone please help me. I purchased this watch yesterday. It has a "countdown" feature for yachting whereby the chronograph function counts down 10 minutes prior to a race. My question is: is there a way that I can start the chronograph at the 12 o"clock possition to time events. Starting the chronograph at the 10 o'clock position mandates that I add 10 minutes to the elapsed time to get the correct elapsed time. It is confusing.Thank you.wanthonymd@aol
Can anyone recommend a good repairman? One of my electrics stopped working after only 2 months on a fresh battery. My own watch guy does not do electric repairs and would have to subcontract the job out of town, and I'd prefer to give the job to someone already known. My alternative was Rene (Rondeau) but he is having surgery done and won't accept new jobs until the springtime.
Source:F1 President Bernie Ecclestone Mugged in London; Hublot Stolen From His Wrist | WatchTimeFormula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone suffered a black eye when he was attacked by four men outside his London office around 10:30 p.m. on November 25. His girlfriend was with him at the time. The robbers made off with jewelry ¨C and Mr. Ecclestone¡¯s Hublot ¨C together valued at $314,000.Following the attack, Ecclestone sent a picture of his face along with a short note to Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver. The message said: ¡°See what people will do for a Hublot.¡± Since the two have a great sense of humor, they agreed to make an advert based on the photo and message. This Hublot ad will be a strictly one-off shot, appearing in today¡¯s Financial Times and International Herald Tribune. The ad shows the unretouched ¡°mugged shot¡±, along with Bernie Ecclestone¡¯s original commentary. The ad also notes that Hublot does not condone this method of acquiring one of their watches.

I have loved the design of this piece for along time.Recently, I have been looking at getting one.The photos that I have seen made me lean more towards one in R/G, what are your individual thoughts? I have spoken with 4 UK AD's two of whom have the model in stock, one of the dealers advised me that the 5127 in R/G was currently a particular difficult model to get. What do you think? The AD told me that the 5127 was perhaps the best Patek to wear as a daily wearer, due to the advantages of having the protective shoulders, screw in crown & case back. Please give me your thoughts and include as many different photos that you can. Regards Tony
