Seamaster "Bond" bracelet clasp
Hi all, I've been reading this forum for a while and decided to finally post.It seems I will have to replace the clasp or parts of the clasp on my Seamaster Chronograph.The wet suit extension appears to attach to the last link on the bracelet with some sort of push pin. One of the holes of the "forks" (for lack of a better word) of the divers extension that the pin goes through has developed a split in it length wise (along the axis of the hole).I was wondering if it is possible to buy just the pieces for the wet suit extension, or if I have to buy a whole new clasp.Also, has anyone changed a clasp on a bond bracelet? If so is it difficult, and what tools are needed?Thanks in advance.-Christian

Any objection to my starting off the new year w/ a thread dedicated to James Bond time pieces? I've seen and enjoyed a lot of great wristwatch images in Omega and Rolex forums, but I thought it would be a nice way start out the new year which will end with another Daniel Craig 007 film by suggesting a spot where we can all come together.Here's my opening contribution.This is my Omega 2907.50.91, "Casino Royale" Limited Edition, w/ which I've spent a great deal of time as 2007 drew to a close. I wanted to do something different by way of creating an image. What better an approach than to reflect an Aston Martin DB5 in the blue outer A/R coating of the Seamaster Planet Ocean? Flipping a Patek for a Lange and....
I never thought I'd sell my 5205G. But looking back over the last two years I've been wearing it less and less, perhaps less than any other dress watch. It's undoubtedly a beautiful watch but maybe it's elegance and the shape of the case pushes me off. I intended to keep it anyways and maybe in the winter time I'd find myself wearing it more often as I think it suits darker clothing better than light summer styles. So while I've been waiting for the PT Datograph to arrive I just tried on the Grand Lange 1 in WG black dial and am really smitten. I didn't expect to like the black dial but pictures really don't do the watch justice. It just sparkles in the light, it almost feels like there is no sapphire on the case. It has a the Lange 1 casual elegance which I really dig. Just feels right on the wrist which I didn't feel with the 5205. So I'm able to flip my 5205G for the Lange and as added extra a Pam 372 or 424 too. Am I being too impulsive and should I give the 5205 some mor

Sub or GMT....that is the question.
Hi guys! I am new to the forum and have enjoyed learning from all the experts on here. I must say that this site has become somewhat of an obsession and I’m sure my productivity has suffered a bit since finding it. That said, I’m considering buying a Rolex and the two that I’m most interested in are the Sub and GMT Master II. I am particularly drawn to the blue/gold sub and the black/gold GMT. I have looked at both the old style and the new style (Ceramic) in each model. Obviously, my wallet would appreciate the older models more, but I’m torn on which way to go. I’ve also considered that if I went with the older model, I might even be able to do one of each for near what one in the Ceramic style would run. LOL! Just looking for opinions from members on which way to go with this. edited Cheers!
