Corum 753.671.98/F371AK54 wrist watches news:
When an Explorer II owner looks at his/her watch do they find it small compared to say an Omega Seamaster? The difference is 1mm against the Rolex. I currently wear a Seamaster at 41mm and a Planet Ocean at 44.25mm, but love the white dial on the Explorer II. I tried one on briefly and my first impression was "small". I didn't really get a chance to get used to it on my wrist so it could have been the initial impression. What do you think?
I been trying to buy a watch last few days but seems like I am with in $75-$150of making a deal.Last night I did not bid on ebay KOBOLD range rover watch , the 20th year watch made for car maker, the watch seemed like well used and it was smaller watch of two watches that came with the car, BIN price was $900I missed out on 1984 ROLEX TT DJ mid size watch because he wanted higher price after we agreed on lower price.miss out on KOBOLD SEAL tonight because someone bought it for $1550.00their always next time , keep searching for next toy that I will hopefully enjoy.
Hello good folks,Im a new member of this forum as of today, yai :)I've always been a little fascinated by wrist watches and as of lately I'd like to start getting more into watches, specificly the brands etc.Anyhow, I need some tips first. I've recently been prescribed a medication that requires me to remember to take pill several times a day, and I guess a watch would be perfect to remind me. But Im not quite into digial watches, especially the flimsy cheap ones. I love my current one: (Im sorry, cant find picture) Seiko Chronograph 50m, with black metal wrist band (gunmetal I belive) its called.Slightly worried about its authenticety since I cant find it on the internet.. Anyway.. love it to bits. :)So, are there any analog wrist watches with the option to set several alarms? If taking the time to answer, I really appreciate the time taken! :D
Hey Guys...I normally spend time in the Rolex section, but I got drawn over here today on a thread about the Emergency...So I thought I would post some info about my 70's Chrono...My Mom gave this one to my Dad around 1975. He was flying a lot, so she wanted to get him a nice watch for timing his check-points (way before the day of GPS ) He was also a farmer, so he abused the watch daily, but it mechanically held up incredibly well...I started flying in 1986, so he passed in on to me...soon thereafter, I almost destroyed it in a motorcycle crash, when I was hit by a car and slid 90ft down the paved highway (I didn't measure it out, the Kentucky State Trooper did). Fortunately the case stayed off the pavement but a hole was eaten completely through the crystal during the slide. I had the crystal replaced and wore the watch daily for about 10 years. While I was living in Birmingham, Alabama, I met a serious watch tinkerer (bought a Red Sub from him) and he offered to restore it for me -
I just went in to look as a courtesy. Truly. I love the idea of a moon phase watch. I mean, it's just a super cool complication. But I'm gravitating towards smaller watches lately. That's not to say I don't admire larger size watches. I do. I just seem to be wearing my 39 or 40 mm watches. And all the reviews I've read state that this watch is BIG. I knew I was not going to like it. I was wrong. And it really doesn't feel big. In fact, on leather, it's downright butter on the wrist. Crazy comfortable. The looks just blew me away as I find it extremely attractive. i think it's the smallish lugs that make it wear smaller than it is. I wore it to sleep last night and I barely felt it on. And the lume was surprisingly strong for my nightly 2:00 ritual. Its definitely very thick, but I don't seem to notice that either. I'm 99% of the time with my sleeves rolled up anyway, so it's not a huge issue. Regardless of it all, and the fact that I continuously surprise myself with my ever evolving p
