Ebel 9750L62/63B60 wrist watches news:
Okay, before I begin, Zin please do not kill me :D.Tonight I decided to remove a link from my PO since I felt I may want it to be a little snug on me. Now, this is not my first time doing this. My invicta's have had their links removed by me in the past without any problem. However, I have knownfrom fellow members on this boardthat remove the pins in an Omega can be rather difficult. Well, I attempted to do this tonight and I am somewhat worried as to what I have seen. I will be providing pictures to illustrate what I have done. First picture:Here you will see my Omega with a link already remove and a pin sticking out. My link remover pushes the pin up to this point but it is very hard to pull out. So, I took my leatherman and pulled the pin out. Now, before anyone screams at me, I had no choice and this seemed like the only way possible. As many of you know there are arrows on the links, which I assume, are showing you the direction you need to insert them. So, is it safe and correct
Tom - or anyone else......I note the enamel dial on your Cushion:Image: T DissThis variant doesn't get a mention in the 1927 catalog:So - is the dial on your watch a non-standard variant - or is it just not listed in the catalogs? Reason I'm asking is that I have just acquired an example with the same dial - but in a "Engraved" model:Image: ebayI know the hands are wrong....one day....hopefully....will swap them out for the correct type..
Bought this on a whim a few days ago as I've not had a fix in a couple of months Zenton lume dial M45. It's quite heavy with the bracelet, so I'm wearing it with a strap, haven't decided which I like the best.Likes:hex-bars, better than slotted as I do lots of strap changes.Bezel edge.BGW9 lume is very bright.Lowercase text on dial.Serial # between lugs.Would change:Knurling on the crown to match the bezel edge.Solid stainless bezel with white markers might look better. This is optional so might get one.Maybe a white disc with black date.Interesting: the crown side is brushed vertically, the HEV side horizontally. Not so important to me, but the packaging is nice.Overall a cool watch with the "fit & finish" no better or worse than other brands using this case.ETA 2824-2 Top Grade, 5 adj.
Ok guys so I've finally pulled the trigger. I'm getting the AP 26320 rose gold (silver dial) on leather strap. Paid advance token money today and will be getting my watch in september .. I'm excited, can't wait!!! Will be posting pictures on a incoming thread when I get it :)So I will be putting the watch on a winder, does anyone know what are the turns per day required and in which direction to wind the watch. I was trying to search on google but didn't get an answer. I know I know its too early to be asking these questions but want to know before it arrives. Thanks
Any 5164a owners here? Am considering one, and wondering what the general thoughts are about this watch. It will be my first Aquanaut (have had a YG 2526 and 5980/1a) in the past.
