Seiko SRP677 wrist watches news:
Ok, so as we all know, Fathers day was this past weekendand since I have moved from my home town of Pittsburgh PA, to Philadelphia PA to pursue my DREAAAMS I wasnt in town to share this grand day with my old man. On top of THIS, it is his Birthday today! So on my walk home today, I decided Id stop in to one of the many shops in Philly, and look around for A WATCH for the old guy. AND BEHOLD!! I found this! For the SLIM price of 99.00!!!The old guy has never really been one for watches, however, growing up, in my pre-teen years, he religiously wore a Swatch watch, that he loved. After quite a number of years, this watch dwindled and finally BROKE for good. Since then, he hasnt worn a watch. As of lately, he has been calling me or emailing me, telling me how hes seen certain COOL watches online or in stores. And he even CALLED ME from Costco telling me about the awesome watches he saw, and how he thought the prices were reasonable.I knew there was a problem when he called and sai
Need help. How to set the correct time here. The picture showing , long hand at 12 but the short hand is between 2 and 3 o'clock. How to make this right ?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371081175.078995.jpgThank you.
There's so much emphasis on the PO, SMP, and Speedys ( LOVE them all) ....so I thought you guys might enjoy some pics of my Aqua Terra with the Grey Teck dial. The vertical lines are actually more pronounced in the pics than in real life. I love the versatility of this piece. More elegant/classy than the divers IMO but still very sporty. Looks different in different lighting....
I am looking to buy a pre-owned unit of this watch, may I ask the following:What comes with the sales package back in 1999? (Chronometer certificate, user manual, etc.)How many links should come with the watch?Seller says the watch has never been opened and still keeps excellent time and power reserve of 48h. Does the watch need servicing soon considering the age of the watch? Thanks TRF
Just a thought provoking exercise....Maybe it¡¯s been asked, I haven¡¯t seen it.I know I¡¯ve seen the debate on....¡°am I too young for yellow gold¡± OrTwo-tone is for ¡°old men¡±So I¡¯m curious....is there anyone who thinks a certain Rolex model says to you...I¡¯m too ¡°mature¡± for that model (too bright, too flashy, etc...) Or I¡¯m not old enough to pull that off? Happy Monday
