I am a Rolex/Breitling owner and have always purchased pre-loved. I am now expanding my horizons and IWC is the direction I am headed.This has been easy with my Rolex(s) because the preloved market, and sources of information seems much more robust then with IWC. I want an IWC for my next watch and am looking for everyones expertise. If I knew how to do a poll I would.Questions:1) Did you purchase from an AD, gray market, or pre-loved?2) If purchased from an AD what is an acceptable discount to try for in terms of percentage. Has anyone heard this? Tourneau told me this, but maybe they were just trying to make a sell. I've been kicking around the idea of trading/selling my 312 to help fund a 233. Would you guys get the older dot dial or go for a newer 233? I'm trying to justify the additional funds for domed crystal, GMT, power reserve, and manual wind. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
