- Very nice watch for the price. I travel alot and you don't see many open/skeleton watches out there. I've received several positive comments and many glances at it. Plan to purchase additional Stuhrling duct due to unique style.

Jaeger LeCoultre Q185T470 wrist watches news:
At Baselworld 2013 we gave you an exclusive hands-on look at the Swatch Sistem51, the 51-component mechanical watch completely assembled by machine. Since then, we have been asked regularly "when will I be able to buy one?" Well, today your wait is over (kind of). The Sistem51 is officially launching in the United States today with a pop-up shop at Swatch's Times Square store in New York City, with a second location appearing in San Francisco later this month. Here are all the details about how to get your hands on this $150 Swiss-made marvel. 2 OF 4 Before we get into where you can buy one, here's a quick refresher on the Sistem51. As the name suggests, it has only 51 components including the mechanical movement. Everything is held together by a single central screw and the entire package is put together by machine ¨C even the balance is regulated by machine. The movement is made of an anti-magnetic alloy called ARCAP, has 19 jewels, and boasts a 90 hour power reserve. Pl
Ticking but not keeping time 33mm stainless snap-back Sandoz manual wind.International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen, and Helpers of America dial.Nothing spectacular, but for $1 at a market, I couldn't pass....dunno what I'll do with it, but it's kinda cool!
I thought I would make a little photo list of watches that are highly recognizable to even the beginning and aspiring HOG (horologically obsessed guru). These are the watches which have succeeded in staking out a striking original design that people notice. When I go out to eat or anyplace, really, I like to look around and see if I can spot a watch in the wild. I'm trying to make a list of some watches that I would recognize from ten feet or so. Now, there are some watches like the GP Three Bridges that is pretty recognizable, but due to the price, I've excluded it. The chances of seeing a $100,000 watch is almost zero. Same goes for Richard Mille and some others. So they are not on the list. Also missing is the Rolex Sub. There are just too many 'homages' and 'replicas' to bother with it. I never know.I think this is a pretty good list of watches a person might actually see out there. Nice watches. Maybe you can think of some others. Here we go:
Haven't seen one in my searches. Looking for those TRF guys and gals that have the amazing combo of perpetual calendar and chronograph I'll start!
This week I had the good fortune of being able to pick up PP Watches - one from an AD and the other from the Salon.Just wanted to compare and contrast the experience:-AD - good experience albeit with no price reduction due to the watch being very sought after. got to keep the transport packaging although I wasn't given any freebies (case, scarf, pen etc)Salon - unreal experience, got to see and try on the 2015 collection, listened to some minute repeaters, lots of freebies (scarf, pen, leather watch wallet, first service included)- excellent all round experience. Wasn't allowed to keep the transport packaging for the watch.Based on pure purchasing experience and customer service then the Salon comes out top - however for best prices, assistance in sourcing sought after watches etc then I would have to give it to the AD.
