Ebel Ebel 5168 wrist watches news:
Much like one may buy a new suit or pair of shoes for an occasion.I hankered after the 2255.80 Electric Blue back in late summer of 2004 and following a close examination of it at an AD in Oxford Street, decided to order it from my regular dealer once I exited the store. While not initially intending to buy a watch for a forthcoming wedding of a friend that was scheduled for the following weekend, I found myself wishing and hoping that it would arrive in time for the wedding so I could wear it with my suit. Well it did, three days before the big day of my friends. So while it was not my original intention to specifically purchase the watch in respect of the occasion, I found myself willing its' arrival in time for it.Ever timed a purchase to coincide with an event or had it work out that way by chance pals?Y'all have a nice weekend now ZIN
Cal 321 1950's Speedy, going cheap-ish
If you have not already signed up to "My Oris" on the Oris.ch website (if only to extend your watch warranty free for an extra year) I suggest you do so now, and have a go at the quiz to win an Oris 2010 calendar - not bad for a couple of minutes work - there's only about 10 questions.Go to 'my content' and 'quiz' will appear in the drop-down box. They have already given away a Williams F1 and a ProDiver watch this year in similar quizzes, so they're not skimping on nice prizes .Best of Luck.
My Unitimer came with a brown alligator strap.....but I thought it might look better with a black strap.....So what do you think?
I am considering adding a vintage Patek Perpetual Calendar Chronograph to my collection.I have done a lot of reading around the 3 different variations of the 3970 series and have also been looking at the 5970.Obviously prices are very very robust and so trying to find anything at a fair price is a challenge.I am looking to buy a watch to keep and to wear and do not have any plans to flip or hold for purely investment purposes. However i am keen to buy wisely and select one of the more sought after models / metals.i will probably focus on the 3970 for the time being but am also open to the 5970 should i find a good one at a fair price.Any input on which of the particular variations to get and the rarity of different metals dial combinations would be very useful. Thanks in advance
