Ebel 1216036 wrist watches news:
Hello all,I recently had a pocket watch passed down to me. As the new steward of this heirloom I would like to learn as much as possible about the watch. What I do know:The case, dial and movement are marked "M. S. Smith & Co., DetroitIt is a hunter case (front cover was removed for display by a prior owner)The inside of the back cover is marked with number 35798Any information or advice on where to look for some would be greatly appreciated.
I"m a newbie to this forum due to me defecting from the IWC brand. I hope thats not blasphemy I just swapped a Portuguese Yacht Club which gave me nothing but trouble for a Pam 231. Lovely piece i"m sure ya"ll will agree. Has anybody got any info as to where I will get a black croco strap with 26/20 mm dimensions to fit my new Radio. Been searching the net and can"t find any. Most coming in at 26/22mm. Please help. Big surprise for me when I got the watch was 2 more spare straps, one being unused. Unfortunately all straps are various shades of brown. Dont mind brown but the 231 will look killer with a black strap. Please help. Best regards JJ. BTW I mean alternative sourced straps before going all in for a Pan/OE strap.
Couldn't be happier. I really liked the AMG, but I lost my love for Titanium (just too gray for me). The opportunity came up for a trade, so I went for it.Here's my new IWC
Loving it thus far...
Ok so Ive owned my Patek 5167 on steel bracelet now for a couple months...I really want to preserve the bracelet and im constantly worried about scratching it when I wear it out...Bit the bullet on sunday and ordered the rubber strap and deployment clasp. Total cost, around $1300 Im kinda kicking myself but I know I will like having the option of going back and forth when I get bored. I want to order the brown strap too, from the 5167R...the dial on the 5167A looks kinda brownish in some light anyways so Id be interested to see how that will turn out. Ben bridge said the strap and clasp will arrive in a few weeks and that I should allot about an hour for sizing.
