Ebel E1976M22 wrist watches news:
Baume & Mercier has been turning to its extensive watch archives to inspire its recent men’s watch collections, such as the Clifton. Last year, the Swiss brand launched a new watch line for ladies that takes its aesthetic cues from past models. The new Baume & Mercier Promesse, now in stores for Mother’s Day, is influenced by a classical model from the 1970s.Baume & Mercier’s history with women’s watches stretches at least to 1918, when the founding duo of William Baume & Paul Mercier began creating jewelry watches in the Art Deco style of the era. The brand introduced the influential Marquise ladies’ watch, with a bangle bracelet, in the 1950s, and went on to introduce several award-winning models in the 1970s, including the Mimosa, Galaxy, and Stardust. The 1970s also spawned the ladies’ watch model that most directly influenced the design of the new Promesse collection, which is characterized by the juxtaposition of an oval-shaped b
Hello :I recently inherited this watch. I've spent a ton of time trying to find out about it without much success, since it seems like there are infinite numbers of Omega watch models and this one is very rare. So my last option is to recurr to some forums and hope someone helps me with some info. Thanks in advance to any replies. As to now I've established the following information : Omega Constellation 18K Yellow Gold Day Date with Gold Dial and leather strapEstimated price from only 3 that I've found in the whole web $1.700-2.500It seems the watch is very rare since I've found so few similar watches, and on the Omega site they currently don't sell any Constellation models with that same dial with the month and date hands. The original leather strap is missing, but seems to be relatively inexpensive to replace (like U$S 50).There is something weird with this watch though, the back/casing is steel and on all the other similar ones I found, the back is gold. On closer examination the ba
I will, as the child of an owner whose father was the original owner, eventually own a 1981 model number 16013 rolex oyster perpetual datejust with a jubilee bracelet and champagne dial.I know basically nothing about fine watches. I wear a Skagen black mesh on black with no date. It is very slim and certainly far from a "luxury" watch, but i like it none the less. As I will eventually wear the heirloom, I'm doing some preliminary research into what owning it will entail.I understand that a rolex requires service. How necessary is this service? What does it provide? How expensive is it?How often should i do it?I would also like to know if there are any other things you would like to say about owning one, or owning any fine watch. On a seperate note, the zoom above the date. Firstly - what is that called. Second, can it be removed, and if so at what cost? Lastly - does anyone have any pictures of a model 16013 without a zoom above the date? or know where i could see one?8650-Rolex-Datejust-1
thanks in advance
Hi all,Does anyone know how much thicker the 5726 bracelet is compared to the 5711/12?Secondly, is it the same bracelet on the 5726 and the 5980? Or is the 5980 bracelet just that little bit thicker than the 5726 bracelet?ThanksSent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
