What might cause this?
One of my vintage watches is acting oddly. I've tested it for accuracy 4 times, and 1 time it did great for more than 24 hours. The other times, the hour and minute hands stopped after a few hours, while the second hand continued. I suppose it could be a coincidence, but each time it stopped with the minute hand on the 4, or 20 minute mark. The hour hand was on the 7 once, the 8 another time, and I don't recall where it was the other time.Any ideas? Obviously I'm going to take it in for service, but I thought I'd see if I could get any insight here before doing so.It's a Wittnauer with a linen textured dial and a subdial for the seconds.
