Ebel 9187F41 wrist watches news:
I accidently noticed that a magnet placed on the watch-back at the 8 o'clock position will stop the watch. It's a nice way to stop the watch to allow time to catch-up to correct time without have to pull stem and reset and wait to click back in place. I noticed it when I read that the new parachrome spring is un-affected by magnets. I put a magnet to my 2005 sub, and it stopped. I tried it on my new GMTIIc and it also stopped. ?? While confused why the new GMT with a parachome spring would stop, it didn't bother me too much. I am now wondering....Am I magnetizing the mechanical wheel and spring? Could this affect the watch in the long-run? Any thoughts or opinions from you guys? Bob
I was reading and watching how some rag on Invicta for making Hommages. Yet the more I look at the TAG's bracelet and Omega Speedmaster bracelet, they ALMOST if not are COMPLETELY identical! They both have the small polished center links. So I would like to ask for those who know, who made the bracelet first and who do you consider did the hommage bracelet? My gut is TAG copied Omega. Just a hunch. Unfortunately, I do not have pics to post for comparisons, but I have seen them both and they do look identical. It is VERY easy to target company's such as Invicta for such hommages but seems to me that plenty of others have done the same in the past and still do so today.
Hello guys; What sort of discount is considered fair at AP NYC for a 15400 in blue? I've read as high as 20%, but that seems high. I've never purchased an AP before, only Rolex/PP/VC and I usually achieve ~10% off from AD.Cheers!
Does AP sell a RG bracelet for the RG 44mm ROO? I like the fact that for just by adding a bracelet, I could do curls in between patients.
Hi guys,Hoping for a little help. What was the OEM strap for the 112?I have seen a plain black on both sides strap (leather calf strap?) on many online but have also have seen it on numerous occasion with a black on the outside and white on the inside strap...this has led me to be very confused!Do Panerai straps have a model number? Thanks.
