i bought a nice wooden watch！
1st the product packaging is a simple thin cardboard box with some tissue for protection and directions for the watch which were simple and easy to follow, I understand the need for eco packaging, but it doesn't inspire confidence in terms of protective packaging. The watch itself looks great, the rich tones of the rosewood grain are stunning. The band is a quarter inch thick so the watch does look beautiful but maybe a bit big for some people, I personally like it, I didn't need to remove any links so I can't speak to how hard or easy that is. The winding knob is a concern as it just seems fairly loose. RO 15400 ?Durability
Hi all,Looking into the RO 15400 for my first big splash. I really want something I can wear without constantly fretting over it. I'm wondering how durable is it? Been hearing how its quite easy to scratch and ding. I'm a big fan of the sea and beaches, to the people who have/had experience with RO, what do you think about using this daily and on vacation??Thanks guys

Numbers stamped on what part of the movement?
Just looking at movement numbers and notice all the 186 and 1861s have the movement number stamped/engraved on the same particular part. Can you tell me what this part is called? Is it the wheel Bridge? I know it seems an odd question, but for my own education, isn't this part made and stamped independently and then most likely thrown into a parts bin to be pulled out at some point in the future when the movement is being assembled - if this is so then a 33.XXX.XXX movement may be in stock a year or two before say a 29.XXX.XXX which is finally pulled from the parts bin. Just throwing it out there. So, on this basis, an Omega movement number is no real guarantee of year just a range of production within a range of years. Yes? No? Like to hear your thoughts on this small distraction?

My first high end watch
Hello.I wanna buy a first high end watch and i think panerai is the one.Firstly i decided going for the PAM 372 but it seems that they now are sapphire instead of poly. The problem about Panerai is that the fakes are well made making it kinda hard to buy a pre-owned that being said i need to go for a new AD buy. Even if it was a hard to fake watch i think i want to buy high end watches new at an AD only.What you guys think about the PAM673 (1000 limited)? Compared to the PAM 372 (poly or sapphire).Should i get the PAM673 if i see it in an AD yet?Im open for any other brand as a first watch. With a limit of (25k dollars). And keeping in mind that i want it to pass by my younger generations.
