Franck Muller 6002 M QZ MIROR wrist watches news:
Sorry, only in German. But at least some good pics
After buying a few divers and a few Lum-Tec pieces, I've had an itching for a bold dress watch. In an effort to scratch that itch I had 2 watches firmly in my sights. The Calibre de Cartier and the Frederique Constant Maxime. In my eyes they are each quite beautiful and interesting. Interesting in that they each represent their manufacturers first in-house movement. Beautiful in that they are bold, sporty and visually exciting. After deciding I needed one of these watches in my life I spent some time with each this past weekend. First up was the Calibre de Carier. This watch is stunningly beautiful in the flesh (in my eyes at least). The first surprise was just how light the watch was, it certainly didn't have that heft you expect with a watch this size. After reading post after post regarding the possibly dubious selling and CS practices of The Shop with the addition of possible price gouging and outright salesman deceit can someone tell me the difference between this organization and the gray market? If it is indeed a 'roll of the dice' whether you will receive a brand spanking new watch or a defective return is this not the same business model as some shops say on the 'bay? I'd love to hear your opinions.
Anybody seen the newish Blue dial Aqua Terra as worn by James Bond in Skyfall????Its strange really as all the Omega campaigns are showing Bond with the Omega PO however most of the film he switches to the Aqua Terra, Omega acknowledge this on their website but the campaign is all around another PO (Bonds third model in 3 films)Anyhow, I was not fussed on the AT however passing a few shops I must admit it looks great in the flesh so to speak!!Anybody tried or own one?? Not really much mention about this specific model amongst the tons of Skyfall threads
