- I really like this watch. It is different because of the plastic band, which I like. I have worn this everday since my purchase. It is easy to read and is a perfect size.

Franck Muller 10000-CC-SC wrist watches news:
First I might be a little too obsessive about this but...I've been wearing the Great White for almost three weeks and here are the results...but read the whole thing before you respond because I am confused.Normally the watch keeps excellent time adding +1-+2 seconds per day. I last wore it for several weeks straight in November and December. It has always been slightly fast for the two years I've owned it.Now I wind it up, set it and wear it for the last 19 days...24hrs a day.Now I'm at exactly -5 seconds. Here's the weird deal...day 1 -12day 2 -10day 3 -6day 4 -5day 5 +1day 6 + 5day 7 +4day 8 +8day 9 +1day 10 +5day 11 +6day 12 +2day 13 +2day 14 +3then I stopped checking and now I'm at -4.89 seconds in 19 days (24 hrs each). Here's the questions...1. Why all of the sudden all this erratic loosing then gaining? (It's never done that before just a slow gain)2. I read somewhere (maybe here) where this happend to a Seamaster owner who wore his watch after it sat for a while and he let it
Since no one has started a daily thread yet, I thought I would give it a go. As the thread title implies, post whatever style of Hamilton you wish.I just now got my Murray and Cabot back from the watch shop. I've already got the Murray strapped up and on my wrist, so that is what I'll share. The strap for the Cabot is at home and will have to wait. I owe thanks to Tom (vintagehamiltons) on both of these. The Cabot I purchased from his "overstock" and the Murray is now wearing a NOS crystal that was graciously given to me by Tom. This is a lousy picture, but all I could manage in my office. Here is to a great weekend for everyone Without further ado, the Murray (cataloged 1955-57).
I have seen Ocean watches in an add in one of the watch magazine and they look nice, please send any information on them to this site.

I had something odd occur yesterday. I recently bought a large lot of old wristwatch hands on eBay from a seller in New Hampshire, I live in Michigan. The package arrived to my PO box yesterday almost completely covered in green tape marked "Homeland Security". Other than the tape (which was impossible to miss) there was no note or even a sheet of paper telling my anything. I asked the post office people, and they had never seen this before and also did not know anything about what recource I might have.I had only a quick look last night, but at first glance it seems that perhaps 1/3rd of the hands I purchased are missing! My guess is that these old hands likely contained rather radioactive radium, and that big brother effectively removed my propertywithout even a mention or a note. This is NUTS!! Is this where we have gotten? Our government can now just take our assets without even a mention in the name of "security"? Any suggestions for how I should handle it? :)
